Fans of water sports will soon get to take part in a competition in Qatar as one of the best locations in the Middle East will host a fun water sports tournament which will be the second "Wake the Pearl-Qatar" wakeboarding event to hit the area. The area is not well known yet for its wakeboarding enthusiasts and wakeboard towers, but sponsors of the event are hoping that changes soon with the amount of publicity planned for the competition. The popularity of wakeboarding has experienced an intense rise in the past few years and Qatar residents are taking advantage of that popularity.
