An investigator looking at the roof of the state house in Topeka, Kansas had some bad news for the crews looking to repair the roof and suggested that the roof didn't need a simple repair and actually needed an actual roof replacement to be done. The roof was originally built almost a hundred and twenty years ago and due to some rather harsh conditions that have existed in the past few years, the recent damage done to the roof was so severe that a simple repair wouldn't do the job and that an entire replacement would likely be needed.
